Antique Pedestal Desk
An antique pedestal desk is a work area made of pedestal cabinets and a rectangular work surface, usually wooden, the desk surface rests on the two cabinets. The cabinets are used for storage and are small cupboards or a stack of drawers. Often to separate the desk user from the visitor there is a modesty panel so the legs of the desk user are not visible between the pedestal units. Sometimes the surface of the desk is inlaid with leather or a lacquer to provide a softer writing surface.

Look on the website at www.state.ok.us, to find out more information about Oklahoma. But just to keep you interested here are some interesting facts. There are about 3 million people living in Oklahoma. The state flower for Oklahoma is the Mistletoe. Oklahoma is also known as Sooner State, and the state tree is the Redbud. Hardly worth going to the website now, is it?
