Antique Rolltop Desk
An antique roll top desk is a desk with additional storage on the top and at the back of the desk, and for this reason the desk would generally be used against a wall. The additional storage would be used to store papers and envelopes and would be of many various sizes, often there would be 'secret' compartments included within the storage compartments. The roll top section of the desk is made of wooden slats and can be locked for security.

Look on the website at www.state.nc.us, to find out more information about North Carolina. But just to keep you interested here are some interesting facts. There are about 8 million people living in North Carolina. The state flower for North Carolina is the Dogwood. North Carolina is also known as Tar Heel State, and the state tree is the Longleaf Pine. Hardly worth going to the website now, is it?
